Alverde Deo Roll-on Mango Papaya - should be a nice product if I would be able to at least try it :s It's simply impossible to get any product out of the bottle! This is my first roll-on after a long long time and it seems I'll have to keep on trusting spray deodorants.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick Passionate Red Review
A while back, I wrote about Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Sticks and now I've bought one of them, so I can give you my first impressions.
My new beauty is number 35 and named Passionate Red. I chose this one because it's the most pigmented of the bunch and the dark red colour suits the pink undertones of my skin very well.
Here's a swatch of the product (under artificial lightning).
And here's how it looks like on my lips (again, the photo wasn't taken in the best of conditions). The product colours my lips quite nicely and has a tiny gold-like shimmer to it, which makes it especially attractive. The product isn't very moisturising, but it doesn't dry your lips either and you can apply it over lip balm.
I'd give this product 4 of 5 points and will probably buy the hazel one as well. However, I have to give it a go on my lips before buying it. I'm not sure how hazel would fit my lips.
All in all, I recommend buying this one. In Slovenia, you can get it in DM's at 7.25€ which is even less than I estimated based on British prices.

Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Hand Cream Review
I was very happy when I saw this product in Slovene stores a month or so ago. So I decided to buy all three hand creams available and I couldn't resist a lip balm as well. Cherry Blossom is the first hand cream of this brand I started using.
The packaging is really cute and I think it's one of the reasons I decided to buy this. The other is great blog reviews of the product. I also liked the tube, which looks like it's made of metal, but actually it's made from some plastic material, so you don't have any trouble when the tube's almost empty. Cherry Blossom has a slight scent, but you have to be really close to be able to smell it, so I was a bit disappointed, because I expected a stronger scent. I also expected the cream to be of somewhat thicker consistency. That's why I actually didn't like it at first. When you apply it, it sinks into the skin rally quickly which was a bit strange at first, because I'm used to heavy creams that leave a film on your hands and need time to sink in. On the other hand, I have doubts on how moisturising this product really is. The nourishing feeling you get disappears quickly, so I vote against repurchasing this. I'd give it 2.5 points form 5.

Moonchild Giveaway
Yaaaaaaaaaay! I've won a giveaway! It was done by Moonchild (be sure to check out her blog) and I was chosen from 214 entries. I was so happy when Moonchild contacted me, since I've never won a giveaway before and I rarely win anything, anyway.
So today, I received my prize by mail. Of course, I had to open it immediately and see if I like the smell and I must say I do. I like perfumes that are warm and deep and Oriflame Amber Elixir Night is just that. Fragrantica states that at the beginning of 2013 Oriflame surprised us with a new fragrance, successor to Oriflame Amber Elixir from 2009. Top notes of Amber Elixir Night offer a blend of bergamot, wild rose and incense providing a dose of mystery and seduction and lead to powdery accords of iris attracting attention in the center of the composition supported by hot, sensual union of amber and Siamese benzoin. The base deepens the composition with woody accords of sandalwood, along with patchouli and intoxicating bourbon vanilla.
I think this'll be great to wear for the cold spring nights outside. So once again... Thank you, Moonchild! I'll definitely be using this a great deal.

I miss spring
It's been quite a while since I last posted something. This is due to my laziness. I miss spring and I urgently need some sun. I think I'll only be happy again when I'm sitting at some café, on the porch, drinking cocoa and basking in the sun.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick
Yesterday, I read on Chic Profile that Max Factor will be launching their own equivalent of the popular "Clinique Chubby Sticks". It is called "The new Giant Pen" and it's supposed to be a lipstick pen which delivers an intense color and facilitates the application. It isn't yet clear if it's going to be moisturizing like Chubby Sticks or not, but I'm sure I'll be trying out one or two.
They are priced at £6.99, which is approximately the same as 8.22€. They will be launched in April 2013 at all Max Factor counters (Dm, Muller), so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will be available in Slovene DMs as well.
What do you think? Do you like these? Which is your favourite colour? I find it very difficult to decide, actually.

Beauty Blogger TAG
1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
None of these. It's wavy - the worst combination possible. But I don't care anymore since I cut my hair short.
2. What is your natural hair color?
It's dark brown, almost "coffee" brown and I like it that way now. But I have done loads of experimenting in my teens.
3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I usually dye my own hair. I only had it done at a salon once or twice.
4. How often do you wash your hair?
Whenever there is no other way out. :D Usually, that's once a week, or it could be twice some weeks... I'm really lucky my hair doesn't get greasy quickly.
5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
I change my haircut a lot, but other than that, it's very similar every day.
6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I do my own nails. Always. And I would probably feel funny if someone else would do that for me.
7. How often to you change your nail polish?
Huh, it depends. Sometimes, I change it every day and sometimes I don't even wear nail polish. It varies on my mood.
8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer?
I usually don't even do that. It's rare my toes have polish on them.
9. How long does it take to put on your makeup?
It depends on how special I want the make up to be. My morning routine is 5-10 minutes max, but for an evening look, I need around 30 minutes.
10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I used to do face first, but I recently found out it's much better to do it the other way round, so I changed it.
11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
Oh my gosh. I'm a true collector and I think I've never really used a product up.
12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Never
13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?
No.
14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?
Never.
15. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Sure. No problem, I do it most days.
16. How many high end products do you have?
I don't believe I have any. I trust the cheap stuff you can play with.
17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?
Whenever I feel they are dirty.
18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
I decide in the morning. I sometimes try to do it in the evening, but I'm always in a different mood in the morning, so I just go and pick something else.
19. How often do you change your handbag?
I have one for work, one for shopping, one for this outfit, one for that outfit... So I change it quite often, but I only use a couple of them.
20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?
I usually go to sleep around 10 p.m. On a work-free day, I wake up at about 8 a.m., but on a work day it varies from 5 a.m. to 6.30 a.m.
21. How often & when do you workout?
Not as much as I should.
22. Left-handed or Right-handed?
Right handed.
23. How tall are you?
160 cm
24. Do you speak a foreign language?
I speak English, I remember some German from school and I know some basic spoken Spanish.
25. How many pets do you have?
At the moment, I have four cats (together with my family).
26. How often are you on Blogger?
Almost every day.
27. Do you read the comments posted blogs?
Yes, I read them. What would be the point otherwise?
28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
Sure, guilty!
29. How did you come up with your blog name?
It was very confusing for me, since I didn't get any good ideas, but then I just came up with this phrase - a new lease of life - which means "to improve something that was old or old-fashioned so that it works better or looks better". I think it's appropriate.
30. What kind of camera do you use for photographs?
Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.
31. How often do you clean your house? (Daily, weekly, other)?
I do some things daily, others weekly...
32. What is your favorite color?
Actually, I don't have one.
33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?
Cosmopolitan.
34. Do you swear?
Not really. Usually only when I'm alone.
35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
I have a ton of stuff to do at home... The list says: pay the bills, iron, brush the cat, make dinner ... in the evening, there will be some relaxing on the menu :)
I'd like to TAG everyone as well. If you have time, answer these questions. They are fun and it doesn't take that much time. Please let me know in my comments if you've done it. I'd love to read it!

Frankenpolish
Do you know the feeling when you see something so very beautiful online and realise you can't have it because it isn't sold in your country? Well, that happens to me a lot.
Last december, I started dreaming about China Glaze - Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away nailpolish called Trap-eze.
So, I ordered it online in an online shop called nailetc and it was supposed to come from the USA. I ordered it mid-December an realised in January that it's been a month and that I haven't received my package. So I wrote to the store and they were so kind that they sent the package one more time. Then, mid-February... I was still waiting in vain. The staff at nailetc was very nice, they answered my emails promptly and in the end, they refunded my money. I still have no idea what has happened to my nailpolish.
You can probably guess how disappointed I was when I didn't receive what I wanted, but finally, I said "to hell with it" and decided to make my first frankenpolish.
Those are polishes that you mix together in order to get a new one. I bought a cheap Joy nailpolish at Müller (for less than 1 €) and Essence Circus Confetti. I poured almost half of the Joy nailpolish away and poured some Essence one in. I tried to mix it a bit, but it didn't really work, the polishes mixed only at the top, but it doesn't really matter. If I'll run out of glitter I can always add more Circus Confetti.
This is how the new frankenpolish looks like on my nails. Pretty darn close to the original, wouldn't you say?

New in 5 - Austria
I finally convinced my boyfriend to go shopping in Austria. He normally hates shopping and I do understand that. But... Sometimes, I just can't get out of my skin.
The excuse for going was Ikea. ♥ I adore this store. When I got my kitchen, the first thing was a trip to Graz and to Ikea. I bought tons of stuff that I use in my kitchen every day. This time, it was just a few small things and of course, some I just had to get when I saw them.
Next, we went to Seiersberg shopping city. Before going I printed out the plan of the stores, marked all the ones I wanted to visit and listed the products that I wanted as well. It still took me almost 2 hours to basically jump from store to store, find the products, pay and move on to the next store. I must admit, this thing is HUGE! Our City Park in Ljubljana looks a like a little baby compared to Seiersberg. And don't even get me started on how crowded the place was! It's true it was Saturday afternoon, but still... It took us 25 minutes to find a parking place and then we finally got lucky when someone left. I don't think I'll visit this place again soon... It's too huge even for me.
Anyway, this is the stuff I got there. I decided to go for things that you cannot (yet) get in Slovenia and came up with this. (I'm just sorry that Catrice - Nude palette was sold out everywhere. Do you know if it's available in Slovenia already?)
The Body Shop: Tea Tree Pore Minimiser, Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream, Vitamin C Daily Moisturiser SPF 30, Vitamin C Skin Boost
Some TBS testers: Sweet Lemon Body Butter, Chocomania Body Lotion, Shea Body lotion
Essence: Soak up the sun - Sun Kissed LE, Catrice: I'm Dynamite, Mint Me Up, Petrolpolitan, Look: Metallic Hologram, Bronze Changer
Labello: Vanilla and Macadamia Lip Butter, Maybelline: Löscher
Catrice: Eyebrow designer, Smokey Eyes Set - You did that, Absolute Eye Colour - Mud Spencer & Coralle Hill
